[Urgent Appeal] Help an Injured Father Buy an Auto to Support His Family and Disabled Child
Rahmathulla is a humble daily-wage laborer who once earned his living as a welder, working tirelessly to support his family. Sadly, his life took a painful turn when he suffered a severe spinal injury that left him physically unable to continue his work. Since then, the family has been struggling to meet even their basic daily needs.
Adding to this hardship is his beloved daughter, Thasneem Fathima, who is differently-abled. Due to a condition affecting both her hands and several other parts of her body, she is unable to perform her daily activities independently. The government has officially certified her as a person with a disability, and she currently attends a special school that supports her needs.
Despite their immense struggles, Rahmathulla remains determined to care for his daughter and provide her with a dignified life. Recognizing the gravity of this family’s situation, our foundation has come forward with a compassionate plan—to purchase an auto-rickshaw for them. This vehicle would allow Rahmathulla to safely transport his daughter to and from her special school every day. During school hours, he would be able to operate the auto-rickshaw to earn a livelihood, creating a sustainable source of income for the family.
